Epos out! The making of it's Audio!

Posted by SoS - June 28th, 2010

Epos has been released today and we at Symphony of Specters are very excited to see it out on the wild! I wanted to take a bit of time to talk about the audio for Epos, as it is by far our biggest and most diverse project yet! The members who were involved were

Charles Evans For Music
Zach Striefel For Sound Effects
David Orr For Music
Selcuk Bor Getting coffee and doing sounds and music to fill in gaps. Damn fine coffee though.

Together we were able to create over 8 minutes of audio, hundreds of sound effects, and even the little jingle for MINTGames (I thought that was fun, did you think it was fun? That was fun). We were way over our size limit so we couldn't shove in more audio goodness but the incredible visual and flowing game play more then makes up for it.

So go play it! Enjoy it! Savor it! Ask us anything, we will pretend like we know. Unless we actually know then we can answer. Ask audio questions if you want answers in the know.

You guys did a great job with the music for this game! Keep up the good work.

Much thanks! We'll be here fighting the good fight.

Whooo Coffeee go Selcuk!

I'm going to get you decaf.

PS his secret ingredient is sweat.

and rage. Don't forget rage :D!

Dropping the audio in really breathed life into the game. The music exceeded my expectations. Fantastic stuff.

Whoever wrote this drank quite a bit of Selcuk-coffee, didn't he?

yes, yes they did. it tasted funny so the only viable option was drink all of it. It was clearly about to go bad, and would be a waste.
